On 3rd September 2025, a plantation drive was organized in the Nagsenvan campus by Bandhilki Social Foundation to commemorate the 50th birth anniversary of the late and beloved educator, Dr. Raj Sawant.
As part of the initiative, 30 trees of various species, including Bottle Palm, Areca Palm, Ashoka, Karanj, and other ornamental and shade-giving plants, were planted in the scenic surroundings of the PES Polytechnic Workshop campus. The drive was undertaken with the objective of promoting environmental sustainability while paying tribute to the enduring legacy of Dr. Raj Sawant.
During the event, participants fondly remembered Dr. Raj Sawant’s remarkable contributions to the institution, his dedication to students, and his commitment to educational development.
